I could be much better about reaching out and staying in touch with my friends. I got off social media a couple years ago, so the only way I know what's going on in people's lives is if I ask. And I should just do more of that — a quick text would be enough. Or, one thing I've thought of doing is scheduling an hour or so in my week to randomly call people in my life. I could have a whole list that I call until someone answers, then spend that time catching up.

“Falling in love is like falling into orbit with another bright star. But healthy loving means remaining in that orbit.” How lovely.

My fiancé gifted me a map that plots the stars of the night and location of where we met. Since then, I’ve loved thinking about love in celestial terms (such as the cliched “when stars align”)

Thank you, Rachael, appreciate you reading. I agree — it feels natural to associate relationships with the stars. Even "attraction" evokes the force of gravity. There's also the negative cliche "star-crossed lovers," where the cosmos conspires against you.
